MADRID, Spn. (WGNO) — WGNO Reporter Stephanie Oswald and her daughter, Taryn, attended the Taylor Swift show in Madrid, Spain. They plan to see her again in New Orleans, but first, they recounted the unique experience for WGNO.
Wearing sparkles and VIP passes, it was a mother-daughter dream come true: hearing the roar of the crowd, counting down with The Eras Tour countdown clock and watching the most famous pop star in the world perform right in front of us.

The musical journey started many hours before the actual show, flying from New Orleans to Madrid, meeting up with friends and touring Madrid before the big day.
When May 30 arrived, we dressed up and headed to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium where thousands of fans lined up in the heat, trading bracelets and stories.
After an entire day of hanging out in the heat, Swiftie-style, we entered the stadium for the sold-out show.
In a stadium that holds around 65,000 people, we were in the very first group to go in!

Taylor hadn't played Madrid since 2011 and the crowd showed its appreciation.
Seeing The Eras Tour is sensory overload: around three and a half hours of pure, Taylor-driven energy.
It was shorter than a Fortnight, but created memories that will last Forever and Always.
