ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A robbery suspect was arrested and a police car crashed during a chase through Rochester Thursday. According to the Rochester Police Department, officers were called to Hollenbeck Street around 1:30 p.m. for the reported armed robbery. Investigators determined the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, which was later spotted on North Clinton Avenue at Norton Street. Police said the suspect did not pull over for a traffic stop, so they chased it until it crashed near Lux Street at Clairmount Street. An RPD vehicle and another vehicle crashed during the chase on North Clinton Avenue. The driver of the other vehicle was hospitalized with unspecified injuries. The robbery suspect was arrested.
