What We’re Tracking Evening storms Cooler temperatures this weekend Gradual warming trend A few strong to severe storms are possible this evening. Timing for storms look to be between 5PM and 10PM along a cold front. Storms are primarily going to stay east and southeast of I-35. Western counties will likely miss out on this rain event. Tracking less than a quarter in for most locations. Following the next cold front, temperatures will cool further, reaching the upper 60s by Friday. North winds will continue, gusting up to 25 MPH. The weather will feel more like fall, a sharp contrast to the near record temperatures we experienced on Thursday afternoon. As we head into the weekend, temperatures drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s for highs with lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Overall, a beautiful fall weekend ahead before temperatures climb again next week. KSNT Storm Track Ashton Rizzo
