SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) -  The annual 'Spooky Safari' event at The Zoo in Forest Park is being held this Saturday. A look at how dry Massachusetts has been The family-friendly Halloween event features a trick-or-treat trail for kids, crafts, a zoo-wide scavenger hunt, face painting, free books, animal encounters, and more. The Spooky Safari will be held from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Meatball the Lionhead rabbit Visitors are welcome to dress in costume and a contest will be held for the funniest, most creative, or best group by a panel of the Zoo’s staff.
