The tip off to the Spurs’ 2024-25 season is just a few hours away, but before that happens, the Spurs have released what will be their court for their in-season tournament (a.k.a. the Emirates NBA Cup), and I’m not going to lie — it looks pretty sweet. This season, the court is sticking to more traditional Spurs colors with a black backdrop and charcoal colored Spurs/Texas logo overlaying that, accented by gold in the endzones to go with the Emirates Cup at center court. The Spurs have yet to release their city edition uniforms for the tournament and season, but leaks are suggesting they will be similar to last season’s but a light teal color instead of while. Assuming this is real, I have a bit more mixed feelings about it, but per usual it will likely grow on me with time.
