PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – A Science Hill man is behind bars in the Pulaski County Detention Center, facing numerous charges. The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Tyler Jordan Vaught, 28, Wednesday, in connection with a child sexual abuse material investigation. The arrest followed an undercover investigation by the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, which revealed Vaught had allegedly been sharing sexually explicit images of a juvenile online. Investigators seized equipment for further examination, and the investigation is ongoing. Vaught faces 20 counts of distributing material portraying a minor under 12 in a sexual performance and two counts of possession of the same material. The Kentucky ICAC Task Force, which includes more than 26 law enforcement agencies, works to combat cyber crimes involving child sexual abuse and exploitation across the state.
