LEXINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) -- A man was arrested in Lexington on Wednesday in connection to a sexual assault investigation, according to a Lexington Police Department news release. William Travis Hedrick, 37, for charges on a sexual assault investigation involving a juvenile victim.  The allegations happened between 2017 and 2024.  Hedrick has been charged with: second-degree forcible rape second-degree forcible sex offense assault by strangulation statutory rape of a child by adult first-degree statutory rape statutory sex offense with a child by an adult two counts of violation of a 50B (also known as a restraining order) Hedrick is in the Davidson County Jail under no bond.
