EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Happy Thursday, Borderland. Thursday brought another record-breaking day. The El Paso International Airport recorded a 91-degree day high, a few degrees warmer than the 89-degree record set in 1889.  The sunny, dry conditions will stick around for most of the weekend. These temperatures will be coupled with warm, calm winds throughout most of the week.  Saturday and Sunday will have highs around the upper 80s, with lows near 60. Come Monday, El Paso jumps back up to a 91-degree high. Tuesday will feature stronger winds, and dry conditions but this system will launch the region into more fall-like conditions.  Halloween, on Thursday, will have a high near 78 and a low around 54. Sunny skies and a clear evening will make this a great day for trick-or-treating.  One more near-80-degree day is in store for Friday, before Saturday hits near 75. Lows for both days will be in the lower 50s.  Don’t forget, KTSM’s annual Weather Fest and 2024 The More You Know expo will be happening this weekend. The event will feature area schools and students showcasing their creative and intellectual skills. The fun starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. at the Outlet Shoppes of El Paso. We hope to see you there!
