CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control will host its first Trunk or Treat community event on Friday night. The family-friendly event takes place at Renaissance Park off West Tyvola Road. It offers trick-or-treating, games, food trucks, local vendors and various giveaways. ACC adoptable foster dogs will be there, hoping to find their new home. “We are asking participants to consider bringing a bag/box for treats (for cats or dogs) so that the shelter animals can get some treats also,” a spokesperson said.
