BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- The California Highway Patrol issued a Silver Alert for a 73-year-old missing man last seen in California City. Officials with the highway patrol say Phillip Whitmill is considered at-risk and was last seen in the 8800 block of Redwood Boulevard on Oct. 18 at about 5 p.m. Officials say Whitmill has dementia. Whitmill is described as 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds. Highway patrol officials say he was last seen wearing a bright green oversized polo and dark gray sweatpants. Officials advise to call 911 or the California City Police Department at 760-373-8606 if you know the whereabouts of Whitmill.
