Man arrested after attempting to break in an east Bakersfield residence

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A man is in custody on suspicion of multiple charges after attempting to break into a residence in east Bakersfield.
Officials with the Kern County Sheriff's Office say, deputies were dispatched to the 5500 block of Greenbrier Avenue around 8:45 p.m. on Monday for the report of an attempt to break in.

At the scene, Emanuel Aquino was arrested on suspicion of robbery, arson and obstruct and resist.
Aquino was apprehended by a K9 and taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
