TULARE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man and a woman are dead, and a suspect was injured, after a shooting inside a home in Tulare on Thursday, according to the Tulare Police Department. Police say they responded to a home in the 200 block of Berkeley Avenue around 3 a.m. for an intruder in the home. When officers arrived on the scene, they found two victims with injuries inside the home. Officers say they found a man in the backyard who was taken into custody.  Police say the suspect was suffering from gunshot wounds that he received from someone in the residence.  Police say a 38-year-old man was found in the home with injuries and he died at the scene. A 58-year-old woman was also in the home with injuries and she was transported to a local hospital where she later died. Police say there are no additional suspects and the initial investigation shows it to be an isolated incident.
