WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — The funeral arrangements for the fallen Wethersfield firefighter, Robert “Sharky” Sharkevich Sr., have been announced. Sharkevich, 66, was killed on Tuesday while helping battle the Berlin brush fire when a utility vehicle operating on a steep, rocky incline rolled over onto him. News 8 Exclusive: Sister remembers fallen Wethersfield firefighter Funeral visitation for the volunteer firefighter will be on Sunday, Oct. 27 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home in Wethersfield. The service will be on Monday, Oct. 28 at 11 a.m., at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford. The burial will be at the Rose Hill Memorial Park in Rocky Hill.
