BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) – Two people are dead after a shooting that ended in a fiery vehicle crash in the Lowcountry Wednesday night. According to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office (BCSO), around 10:20 p.m., three individuals were inside the vehicle at the corner of Parris Island Gateway and Trask Parkway in Burton when the shooting occurred. While they were on their way to the hospital, BCSO said the vehicle crashed and caught fire in the 800 block of Ribaut Road in Beaufort. Day 9 of Leilani Simon murder trial: Closing arguments expected Two people died and the third individual is being treated for injuries. The deceased have not been identified at this time. BCSO has not announced any arrests and they are looking for information from the public. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact SSgt. An autopsy has been scheduled by the Beaufort County Coroner's Office.
