HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close lanes on West Broad Street in Henrico County for paving and milling. VDOT will carry out alternative lane closures to the westbound lanes on West Broad Street between Springfield Road and Dominion Boulevard for milling and paving operations. If weather permits, the road work will be conducted between 8:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24 and Sunday, Oct. 27 through Friday, Nov. 1. Drivers are recommended to stay alert when driving through the work zone. In addition, drivers should expect alternating lane closures and flagging operations.
