CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway after a 14-year-old girl was seriously injured in Central Falls. Police were called to a home on Earle Street just before 9 a.m. Thursday for a report of an unconscious girl. She was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital in critical condition, with what police said "appears to be a gunshot wound." A 12 News crew on scene saw crime scene tape blocking off the area and officers walking in and out of a multi-family home. It's unclear what led up to the incident.
