This weekend is a good time to take a hike to see Portland’s peak fall colors; but be sure to bundle up, there’s an atmospheric river expected by Saturday. Other cities are looking to Portland as an example for how to transform their rivers and waterways into public spaces. And meteorologist Rod Hill is predicting if we do have any winter storms this year, they will be mostly snow and have little ice.
