SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) -- A 12-year-old Crofton, NE boy that went missing on Monday has been found safe, the Knox County Sherriff's office confirmed to KELOLAND News. Holden Duncan had last been seen in the area of the Crofton High School at 4:15 p.m. He was reported missing at 9:50 p.m. Officials could not confirm where he was located when he was found. The search was conducted by organizations in the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Nebraska Game & Parks Commission, Nebraska State Patrol, Yankton County Search and Rescue, Bloomfield & Lindy Fire and Rescue, Santee Fire and Rescue, Yankton Police Department. Dixon County Sheriff’s Office K9 and many others coordinated a search of the City of Crofton and the surrounding countryside on foot and in the air utilizing drones and a helicopter on October 23rd. The FBI has was also contacted.
