OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A former Oklahoma County Detention Center officer who was arrested earlier in October for allegedly stealing money from inmates has been arrested again on new charges.
The OCDC says Euitt Sharp was arrested again on Wednesday afternoon by members of their Criminal Investigations Division on charges of grand larceny and second degree forgery.
Sharp, who was an OCDC employee from 2014 until his firing earlier this month, is accused of stealing money from inmates five times. In one of those instances, $2,000 was reportedly taken from an inmate.

Investigators say Sharp would steal the money and forge a document so the computer system would show the resident did not come in with the money.
“Following the former Detention Officer's arrest earlier this month, our Criminal Investigations Division continued to look into the case and presented new charges to the District Attorney’s Office,” said Brandi Garner, CEO of the Oklahoma County Detention Center. “We want to be clear: no one is above the law, and we are committed to maintaining the trust of the public and those in our care. Every action has consequences, and we will continue to ensure that anyone who violates that trust will be held fully accountable."
Sharp has posted a $10,000 bond and been released from jail.
