SHAWANO, Wis. (WFRV) - A woman allegedly in disguise and taking money from a Shawano Kwik Trip cash register was detained by employees early Wednesday morning. Around 2:30 a.m. on October 23, law enforcement from the Shawano Police Department and Shawano Sheriff's Office were called to a robbery in progress at the Kwik Trip in the 1200 block of East Green Bay Street. Mechanic/auto shop in Fond du Lac heavily damaged by fire When deputies arrived at the Kwik Trip, the suspect had already been detained by employees. It was stated that she was wearing a disguise while taking money from the cash register. Officers arrived to investigate the incident and discovered that the woman's vehicle was in the parking lot, reportedly modified to conceal 'identifying characteristics.' The woman was taken into custody and charged with one count of Attempted Robbery with Threat of Force.
