COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — As October winds down, there will be something this weekend for football games that has not been seen all month: Temperatures will be seasonable. With the last week of regular season high school football, Football Friday Nite fans will notice much cooler conditions compared with previous weeks. With a cold front that moves through the region, skies will stay mostly cloudy for much of the evening. Toward the beginning of games, there will be a bit of a breeze, especially by kickoff. As Ohio State returns to Ohio Stadium along with alumni for homecoming, all will experience a rush of much cooler air. Kickoff will be in the 50s and only warm to the low 60s by the time the final whistle is blown. Fairly breezy conditions are going to pick up again as the day goes on. Expect mainly clear skies most of the game. Both Ohio NFL's team will see home action this week. Both teams will play under seasonable temperatures with mostly sunny skies Sunday. Central Ohio fans traveling to either Cincinnati or Cleveland will not see any weather related issues.
