A 56-year-old woman died in a fire that tore through a Queens home Thursday morning, officials said. The blaze broke out on the second floor of the two-story home on Hollis Ave. at the corner of 109th Ave. in St. Albans about 8:30 a.m. A 56-year old woman was pronounced dead on scene after a fire broke out inside a residence at 195-14 Hollis Ave. in Queens, New York, on Thursday Oct. 24, 2024.
