ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - It's a cold afternoon, but a dry afternoon as high pressure pushes in from the west. We get a chilly morning Friday with many around freezing. A pair of fronts will swing through Friday night into Saturday and these will have a better chance for bringing rain showers to the region. I expect that we get a wave at some point Saturday morning, leading to a few showers to linger into the afternoon. There could even be a touch of lake enhanced rain showers as the wind is coming out of the north. It's cold here with highs in the 50s. Sunday will be chilly too, but it's likely dry. There's another pattern change for next week. The wind around high pressure will begin to flow out of the south Monday and Tuesday. This bumps up our temperatures into the 60s for afternoon highs. Continual warmer air could even get us back to the 70s by the middle of next week. As of now, Halloween does look warmer, but an incoming cold front will need to be closely watched.
