The Latest Northeast Wisconsin Forecast from Storm Team 5... Good Morning! Its a chilly start to this Thursday with temperatures holding in the 30s through at least 8am. However, with sunshine and a SW wind ramping up to around 20mph at times, highs should reach the low to mid 60s by the afternoon. This is around 10 degrees warmer then average. A cold front is positioned across the Dakota's this morning and will be making its way toward our area. It will bring some cloud coverage a few hours before or right around sunset today, with a few light to moderate showers arriving any time after 10-11pm. Rainfall totals around a tenth of an inch. Nothing to snap us out of this drought, but we will take it. The clouds will prevent lows from dropping into the 20s and 30s overnight. I expect we will wake up to temperatures tomorrow in the low to mid 40s. Friday we will see the passage of the front early, which means clouds will hold for a few hours after sunrise. Plenty of sunshine expected for the late morning into the early afternoon. Highs around 60 degrees. NW wind will be blustery at 10-20mph. We keep a NW wind around into the weekend, which will cool us off to seasonal normal in the mid 50s Saturday with mostly sunny skies. A wind shift is expected Sunday, warming us bac into the upper 50s and low 60s. Temperatures are expected to get even warmer on Monday in the upper 60s and possibly upper 70s by Tuesday. However, it will get a bit windy with gusts topping around 40-40mph early next week. Next chance for rain looks to be possible Monday night, but a better chance Tuesday night and Wednesday. Have to wait and see though.
