On the list of offseason priorities, the expiration of Quinn Sullivan’s contract ranked high for the Union. So high that it took mere days for them to rectify it. Sullivan signed a new contract Wednesday that will run through 2027, with a team option for 2028. The Homegrown had a breakout year for the Union, despite their missing the playoffs. Sullivan played in all 34 leagues games, with five goals and 11 assists. He was second on the team in the latter category. Sullivan eclipsed 10 career goals and 10 career assists, the only Homegrown in club history to do that and the youngest Union player to do so. He’s just 20 years old. In all competitions, Sullivan had 22 goal contributions (seven goals, 15 assists). “Quinn had a breakout season this year, showing how high his potential ceiling can be,” Sporting Director Ernst Tanner said in a press release. “As one of only two players to appear in every regular season match, his growing importance to the club is clear. He stepped up with versatility and maturity this season, playing wherever he was needed. We’re happy to have come to an agreement to keep him with the Union for the coming years.” With the re-singing of Sullivan, the Union have 22 players under contract for next season.
