NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway into a shooting that happened at a North Attleboro hotel Monday night. Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III said officers were called to the Hampton Inn & Suites after a 911 caller reported that a person had been shot. First responders found the victim, a 61-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound to the face in the hotel lobby. He was brought to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive, according to Quinn. Quinn said it appears the victim was not the shooter's intended target.
