NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Free pizza for a year in exchange for Taylor Swift tickets? Sounds like a good deal? That's what one New Orleans pizzeria is offering to help one of its cashiers go to one of Swift's shows. Leah Vaidya, a cashier at Zee's Pizzeria in Uptown is wishing for Taylor tickets. ‘Swift Selfie Studio’ at Fringe + Co. in New Orleans for Eras Tour "I tried to get tickets during pre-sale to get a code on eight different accounts, but got waitlisted on all of them," she said. She's been a "Swiftie" since she was a little girl. "Taylor Swift was the first concert I ever went to when I was 8-years-old. I went to the 'Fearless' tour with all of my friends, and we rented a school bus and took it there," she said. She's not giving up hope for the "Eras" tour, especially after the "Free Pizza for Swift Tix" campaign was already successful for Zee's Pizzeria owner Zander White and his wife. Last year a customer gifted them two tickets for a Taylor Swift show in Houston in exchange for a year of free pizza. Taylor Swift gives a local 11-year old “Swiftie” her autographed hat New Orleans resident Jeannine Davidson saw on Facebook that Zee’s Pizzeria was offering free pizza for a year in exchange for Swift tickets to her "The Eras" tour. “My friend Suzie Coe, who lives in South Carolina bought two tickets previously for the Taylor Swift show in Houston. Then when she realized where we were sitting,” Davidson told WGNO’s Kenny Lopez. “She didn’t like them, so she went and bought two other seats. So I texted her as a joke, asking if she still had the other two tickets, and so she replied back yes, and that I should contact Zee’s to get a free pizza.” "Because Leah is a superfan and she'd like to go, I hope she does get to go. It doesn't take long after meeting Leah that you realize that Taylor is a big part of her personality," White said. I would love to be able to get this opportunity to go to the show in my hometown with all these other "Swifties" who love Taylor so much," she said. "So if Leah does get tickets, then she definitely doesn't have to work that weekend," White said.
