NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Paula Stone is a mom on a mission. Inspired by "Fleurty Girl" Lauren Haydel, she's working around the clock right now to serve the Swifties descending on New Orleans for The Eras Tour.  "I spent my pandemic designing and making "mommy and me" things for me and my son, and I decided that I wanted something that I loved to be able to be something that could, hopefully, in the future, become an empire," says Stone. Her home-grown business, Azriels Empire, is getting a boost thanks to her idea to create Swiftie survival kits.  New Orleans pizzeria offering ‘free pizza for year for Swift tickets’ for cashier "We honestly can't afford the tickets because that's single mom life, but we want to be part of the excitement. I love my company, and I love my brand. My whole policy behind my brand is I want to make memories last even longer," says Stone. She says when New Orleans was added to the tour schedule, she and her business partner, Chloe, were in the middle of creating items for football season. It seems like a long time ago, but here we are.  "Nobody could have known how huge the Eras tour was gonna be," says Stone, whose business can be found on both Facebook and Instagram. Stone was inspired by Facebook chats, saying "I was watching people that are coming from up north and coming from other states, and they don't know what to bring, so I was like, let's put together a little Swiftie survival kit." Stone researched the rules for the show and included a proper-sized and personalized stadium bag, along with plenty of must-have items like sunscreen and lip balm. For fun, she adds glitter, a make-up bag, stickers, custom decorated sunglasses and more! "There's something about New Orleans that empowers us moms, not only as moms, but as women, we are empowered in this city, and we're almost like a force," said Stone. Call it what you want, but it's certainly it's a labor of love, Swiftie style.  Stay up to date with the latest news, weather and sports by downloading the WGNO app on the Apple or Google Play stores and by subscribing to the WGNO newsletter.
