NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Hundreds of fans lined up at Champion Square to get their hands on Taylor Swift "The Eras Tour" merchandise. "I've been a fan of my entire life," Amaiah Watson said. "And so when she went on tour, I was like, okay, I have to go to this. I'm going Sunday night. And then the merch is so cute." Some fans wasted no time to grab their most wanted items. One family drove straight from the airport to Champion Square, with suitcases in hand. So, we always do a girls trip. So, this is our girls trip this year. So, it's, yeah, exciting." Fans looked elated walking out of the venue with their new purchases. "So I got the poster, the New Orleans specific poster," Brittany Ducot said. "I got some crewneck for some friends, some t-shirts for my daughter, water bottle. So we really. We rocked up. One fan said it was her third attempt in snagging the sweater. "It's my third show and it's my first one I got, so they've been sold out," Amber said. "So, I'm excited." The gates at Champion Square open at 10 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. Non-ticketed and ticketed fans are invited to shop Swift's merchandise.
