(CNN) — Would-be criminals could have detailed instructions on how to break the law in the palm of their hands thanks to artificial intelligence according to the tech firm strise. It found that chat GPT can be tricked into giving detailed advice on how carry-out a range of crimes. Strise said the chatbot came up with advice on how to launder money across borders. And in another instance it revealed ways to help businesses evade sanctions. The findings raise questions over the effectiveness of blocks put in place to keep people from using the technology to aid illegal activity. an open A.I. spokesperson said the company is constantly improving chat GPT to make it better at blocking deliberate attempts to trick it.   Categories: National News, News
