2 men hurt after stabbing in Livingston Parish Walmart parking lot

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating after two men were stabbed after an altercation took place at a Walmart parking lot on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
According to the sheriff's office, a 51-year-old and a 25-year-old, who reportedly knew each other, were involved in a physical altercation in the Walmart parking lot in Watson.
When deputies arrived on scene, one was suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen, while the other suffered a laceration to the head, according to the sheriff's office. LPSO stated both males are receiving medical care.
"It appears the confrontation was over a civil matter between the two," said Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard. "Detectives are still working the evidence tied to this case."
This is an ongoing investigation.
