The game could be a blowout in either direction if we’re being honest. The Pistons could get hot from deep, be pesky on defense, and run up and down the floor on their way to a 15-point win. The Pacers, meanwhile, could overwhelm Detroit with superior execution, the comfort of playing a lightning pace, and bomb away from 3 to cruise to an easy victory. But what it won’t be is a slog. It doesn’t feel like either of these teams are built for that. We’ll consider a good way to re-enter the NBA for another season of Pistons basketball.
