HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A person was pronounced dead after a drive-by shooting in Hanford, the Hanford Police Department said.
Officers say just after 1 p.m., a person was driving north on 10th Avenue in Hanford. Police say they stopped at East Lacey Avenue to turn eastbound when the suspect's vehicle, a black sedan, pulled up next to them and fired multiple shots.

As a result, investigators say the victim was struck and transported to a local hospital. At about 3:40 p.m., police announced the victim ended up succumbing to their injuries. A description of the suspect has not been provided at this time.
