Man arrested after stabbing in Tulare, police say

TULARE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Tulare Police say they have arrested a suspect after a woman in Tulare was stabbed Tuesday.
Officials say officers received a call around 2:45 p.m. about an assault near South K Street and East Oneal Avenue in the City of Tulare. Officers were advised at that time that a woman had been stabbed by an adult male.
According to officials officers arrived on the scene and located the victim, she was treated by medical staff and was transported to a local hospital. Officials say she did not sustain any life-threatening injuries as a result of the attack.
The suspect, 57-year-old Duane Harris, was detained at the scene according to officials, after which he was booked on suspicion of assault and an outstanding parole violation warrant.
