FRESNO, Calif. (KGPE) - The weather cooling down in the valley is a reminder of winter, which is right around the corner. Economic Opportunities Commission (EOC) is hosting a “Weatherization Day” event on Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to prepare residents for the season. It will be at 1900 Mariposa St. and is free and open to the public. EOC Spokesperson Amanda Venegas joined CBS47 live in studio to talk about the event and services available to those at home to save some money.
