SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- San Diego County's warmer temperatures level off today with minor day-to-day changes for areas away from the immediate coast.  Inland valleys and mountains will continue feeling above average temperatures through the remainder of the work week while beaches will cool down just a hair. The marine layer will make a comeback Thursday morning and moderate temperatures will be felt a bit more at the coast.  A wide area of low pressure approaches the West Coast for the weekend, but we look to skip out on rain. Main impacts will be temperature cooldown, increased onshore flow and expansive cloud field. Afternoon temperatures in places like Escondido and Julian go from being 10 to 15 degrees above average Wednesday to 10 to 15 degrees below average early next week.
