CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — The ACI inmate who walked off of a work detail nearly two weeks ago has been captured. The R.I. Department of Corrections said Joshua Torres was taken into custody by Rhode Island State Police's Violent Fugitive Task Force on Wednesday. Rhode Island State Police Col. Darnell Weaver told 12 News Torres was taken into custody at the Super 8 in West Greenwich.
