DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) — The town of Dartmouth is now accepting applications for its heating assistance program this winter. Qualified households will be eligible to receive up to $500 in direct payments to their home heat provider. Apply Here The town said the first review of submissions will start on Nov. 6. Applications must be submitted before then. To be considered, applicants must have a household income less than 80% of the state's median income. Assistance will be awarded based on household income and need. The program is funded through the Massachusetts attorney general's Residential Energy Assistance Grant Program.
