OSAGE COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — An Oklahoma man with ties to the Irish mob was sentenced to life in prison by an Osage County judge on Wednesday after he ordered the murder of a fellow mob member from behind bars in 2021. Roberts was reportedly killed during a home invasion in September 2021, when three men forced their way into the home and shot him to death. LOCAL NEWS: UPDATE: One person injured, suspect in custody following shooting in Norman Authorities with the Tulsa Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations found that Millard had used a contraband phone to orchestrate Roberts' murder while he was an inmate at Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy. Millard was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole for the murder charge, 30 years for burglary, one year for conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, and five years for gang-related offenses. Each count will be served consecutively. The Oklahoma Attorney General's Office says that six co-defendants, also associated with the Irish mob, have already pleaded guilty to various charges related to this crime: Ryan Scott Luna, Jacob Kyle Shelton, Donald Tippy, Jr., Kacy Ray Delaney, Levi Dalton and Christopher Polhamus. The alleged shooter, Christopher Taylor, died before charges could be filed.
