OBN seizes nearly 600 lbs. of marijuana in Carter County bust

WILSON, Okla. (KFOR) — The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics seized nearly 600 pounds of marijuana while serving a search warrant at a marijuana grow in Carter County on Monday, October 21.
Agents and officers from Carter County Sheriff's Office, the FBI, Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA), and the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office assisted in the operation.

Officials say the search warrant was served for cultivating marijuana with an OBN registration that was obtained fraudulently using a straw ownership scheme.

OBN seized 21,112 marijuana plants and 593 pounds of processed marijuana during the search.
The bureau says arrests are pending as the investigation is ongoing.
