MEMPHIS, Tenn. — It has been a violent five days in Memphis, with at least eight homicides happening since Saturday in the city and three in Shelby County, by our count. All of these victims have loved ones who are now grieving as these cases have stretched across the city. Monday night, three people were shot in the parking lot of a strip mall off Millbranch in Whitehaven. One of them died.  Tuesday in Raleigh, a man was shot off Ridgemont Road.  Balloons and flowers mark the spot where he was shot outside of convenience store. Memphis Police say he later died at the hospital. Terrance Mayo knew the victim, who people at the scene said was in his 20s. "He used to dress nice, have his little outfits, he had swag so everybody called him Swag," Mayo said.
