(WGHP) -- We'll see another quiet night in the Triad with temperatures falling into the mid-60s by 8 p.m. Skies will be mostly clear overnight as a cold front pushes through North Carolina. Tonight's cold front means tomorrow will be slightly cooler than the last few days. We'll wake up in the mid-50s, but temperatures will climb into the low-70s. Skies will remain sunny with a light northwest wind. Our cool down from the cold front will be short-lived because temperatures warm back up into Friday. Our mornings remain cold, though, with many waking up in the mid-40s Friday morning. Afternoon temperatures return to the mid-70s. We'll see mostly sunny skies on Saturday with morning temperatures back in the mid-50s and highs reaching the upper 70s. A second cold front will move through Saturday night and will be stronger than the first. Our temperatures will cool down significantly into Sunday. We'll wake up in the upper-40s, and highs reach the low-60s in the afternoon. That means if you have outdoor plans this weekend, keep in mind that it will almost feel like two different seasons between Saturday and Sunday. Our cool down remains into Monday with mornings in the low to mid-40s. Our high temperature is in the low 60s with mostly sunny skies in the afternoon. But the cooldown is short-lived again, and we'll start to heat back up on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our mornings remain cold in the mid-40s on Tuesday, but we'll heat into the upper-60s, returning to near-normal temperatures for late-October. On Wednesday, we'll wake up in the low-50s, and highs reach the mid-70s by the afternoon. As you're planning Halloween costumes for Thursday trick or treating, temperatures look to be in the mid-60s through the evening hours.
