APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) - Lawrence University in Appleton officially opened up its new Business and Entrepreneurship Center on Wednesday. Officials with Lawrence University say the Business and Entrepreneurship Center is designed to support academics and career exploration for students interested in business. Green Bay City Council speaks on stadium lease negotiations School officials say that while school learning is important, the Center will help students network with community members; something that can't be found in any classroom. "I think for students, their classroom learning is of course very important but is not complete without the real world experience that many from the business community and entrepreneurial community around here in the Fox Valley can bring to them," stated Lawrence University Professor of Innovation Adam Galambos. System delays continue for early voting in Wisconsin The Business and Entrepreneurship Center is part of the Fox Commons development which also includes student apartments and a Pre-Health Commons.
