ANTIGO, Wis. (WFRV) - After being reported missing on October 20 by family members, the body of a 34-year-old Wisconsin man was found in a wooded area in Langlade County. According to the release, Matthew Howard of Antigo had last been contacted in the morning hours of Oct. 19. The official complaint was made a day later to the Antigo Police Department. Wisconsin man sentenced to over five years in federal prison for illegally possessing loaded Glock 19 with machinegun conversion device Howard's vehicle was found on Monday evening in the woods on a private property in the Town of Rolling. A K-9 search was unsuccessful in efforts to find Howard. Further searches were conducted with the Antigo Police Department and Langlade County Sheriff's Office partnered up on Tuesday and Wednesday in the area where the vehicle was found. One man dead, another injured after wrong-way driver causes head-on crash in Outagamie County Early on Wednesday afternoon, Howard was located dead in the woods in the area of Cedar Road, just north of Now Road in Rolling. A death investigation is being conducted by the Landglade County Sheriff's Office. No more details were provided, as the investigation's results are pending.
