WELLS COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- The Wells County Sheriff's Office arrested four people Wednesday in connection to a robbery investigation that started more than a week ago.
The four suspects were identified as 18-year-old Miles Elwood Walker Pogue, 18-year-old Marcus Frank James Randall, 31-year old Sabbathshe El Y Israel and 38-year-old David Matthew Estel Watson.
Specific charges were not listed, but some of the charges the suspects are facing include burglary, robbery, criminal confinement, battery and theft. Additional charges could also be added, according to the Wells County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation started Tuesday, Oct. 15, when the Wells County Sheriff's Office responded to the 10000 block of West County Road 1100 South on reports of an armed robbery.
Detectives initially learned the robbery happened overnight and that there was not a threat to the public, and an Oct. 17 update on Facebook added that the robbery was "targeted and was not random."
On Wednesday, a series of searches at a home in Poneto, Indiana, led to the discovery of reported evidence and arrests of the aforementioned suspects, according to the Wells County Sheriff's Office.
Indiana State Police, the Bluffton Police Department and the Wells County Probation Department assisted with the investigation.
