Vice President Harris has secured an endorsement from Violent J, one of two rappers in the hip-hop duo Insane Clown Posse. "I want her to win because she’s a Democrat, and I love my mom,” Violent J, born Joseph Frank Bruce, said in a recent interview on The Daily Show. In the video, Violent J expressed dislike for Republican presidential nominee former President Trump and was "opinionless" when he saw a picture of Harris's running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D). In the interview, the rap group's fans — known as Juggalos or Juggalettes — listed a variety of issues that they care about, though many expressed at the beginning of the video that they're unlikely to vote. Some of the issues included reproductive rights, climate change and taxing the rich. In 2014, Insane Clown Posse unsuccessfully sued the Justice Department and FBI after fans were classified as “a loosely organized hybrid gang,” prompting the group to march on Washington in protest. A Cincinnati-based federal appeals court dismissed the lawsuit in 2017.
