ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man will be heading to prison Wednesday for the deadly New Year's Eve hit and run on Buffalo Road.
Broadman pleaded guilty and will serve a maximum of six years in prison. He will serve at least two years in prison before he becomes parole-eligible.
The Gates Police Department said 32-year-old Jose Rivera was struck by a vehicle heading west on Buffalo Road. He later died from his injuries.
Investigators said Brodman hit Rivera with his vehicle but left the scene without reporting it. He was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident resulting in death.
