SIOUX FALLS S.D. (KELO) -- One person has died of West Nile Virus this season, according to the Department of Health's dashboard that tracks the disease. SFPD investigating possible child abuse at daycare There were 19 total cases this year. The DOH said they will not be updating the West Nile dashboard until next season. There were nine counties with positive mosquito pools: Beadle, Brookings, Brown, Codington, Davison, Hughes, Lincoln, Minnehaha and Pennington. Eight people who had the disease were over the age of 64, the dashboard says.
