NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) - Authorities in Norman have arrested one person in connection to a shooting in the 1600 block of 24th Avenue that left one person injured. Police say officers found a 15-year-old female with a gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital where she remains hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Norman Police Department arrest 15-year-old shooting suspect The shooting investigation according to police indicate that the suspect, identified as a 15-year-old male had an altercation behind a elementary school with the victim that led to the shooting. Police confirmed the incident happened with no school staff or students present. He is currently facing a complaint of Assault and Battery with a Deadly Weapon, says Norman officials. The investigation is still ongoing.
