NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A woman has turned herself in to police, in connection to a July homicide, according to the New Orleans Police Department. On July 10, NOPD officers responded to the call of a man found unresponsive in a home in the 2700 block of Decatur Street. Woman shot during Mid-City armed robbery: NOPD The victim was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office as 23-year-old Patrick Bellanger. Responding officers conducted an investigation and said they discovered trauma on Bellanger. Detectives identified 33-year-old Nicole Galvis as the suspect and issued an arrest warrant. On Tuesday, Oct. 22, Galvis reportedly turned herself in at the First District Police Station and was then transported to Central Lockup for booking.
